  RKV WATER-RING VACUUM PUMPS  :-

Design & Working of 'RKV' Water-Ring Vacuum Pumps :-

'RKV' Water-ring vacuum pumps are available in various construction and design to suit continuous vacuum  application.
'RKV' water-ring vacuum pump consists of a dynamically balanced impeller with multivanes and is excentrically mounted in a casing, rotates at motor rpm and imparts centrifugal force to water introduced in a casing to from a ring against the main casing wall.
Pocket volumes are formed by the hub and blades of impeller and the liquid surface.  

The pockets increasing with angular displacement are connected to inner part and those decreasing with angular displacement are connected to the outlet part.  On rotation  of the impeller air is drawn
through the inlet port and compressed out through the outlet port along with water.  The water-ring
thus acts as sealing as well as cooling agent.

Salient Features :- Suitable for continuous service for applications such as evaporation, drying, filteration, distillation, impregnation etc.

  • Easy dismantling, need not disturb pipe line or water connection.

DESIGN & WORKING OF ' RKI ' ROTARY EXTERNAL GEAR PUMP
' RKI ' Rotary gear pumps are available in various sizes and 
versions  to suit every possible viscous fluid pumping 
application.   
'RKI' Rotary external gear pumps are designed for low to high viscosity range, free from abrasive particles and corrosive substance. ' RKI' Rotary gear pump are designed for low to medium pressure ranges. 
' RKI ' External gear pumps consist of profile ground gears, closely fitted in a housing.  Liquid is carried to the periphery of the revolving gears thus preventing return of liquid form discharge to suction side.  All components are precision machined and  closed tolerance is maintained between running parts and stationery parts to ensure high volumetric efficiency.

*  'RKHV' Oil Sealed Rotary High Vacuum Pumps  :-

'RKHV' High Vacuum pump is oil immersed rotary vane type.  The main assembly consists of a main body with rotary vanes mounted
eccentrically in it.  The rotor is provided with two vanes opposite each other with springs in between which press them against  the inner wall of the main body  and make them move in and out of the rotor.  The rotor revolves sweeping the air space twice each revolution.
Oil sealed high vacuum pumps include single stage pump and double stage with gas ballast ( vented exhaust )
